This is a set of mathematically accurate chromatic scales based on musical scales.
In his work on refraction of light using prisms, where he first created the framework which led to ROY G BIV (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet), Sir Isaac Newton wrote "This Rule I conceive accurate enough for practice, though not mathematically accurate."
He posited that there were 7 colors to match the 7 tones in an octave. I disagreed with his work and conclusions, but I wanted to test his theory, especially in light of the fact that we have diatonic (12 notes) in western music.
