Collection: "Yellow Flowers"

"Yellow Flowers" (2024) is an installation of three dozen handcut paper flowers at Theo in Andersonville, inspired by Vincent van Gogh's love of sunflowers and color.

It is also a collection of a dozen pieces I created, influenced by van Gogh's sunflowers, available as affordable prints and greeting cards, both here and at Theo in Andersonville.

I'm grateful for Theo's support in creating these collections, similar to how Vincent was grateful to Theo for his constant support throughout his life. In 1888, Vincent wrote to Theo, "...in giving money to artists you yourself are doing an artist’s work". This echoed the sentiment he wrote to his sister Willemien earlier the same year, "People pay a lot for the work when the painter himself is dead. And people always disparage living painters by pointing unanswerably to the work of those who are no longer with us."

Thank you for supporting artists who are still alive.
